Cabbage soup was a little bit inconsistent from the last few visits - sometime was great while sometime is just ok. Fried beehoon is specially recommended. Service was great. Restaurant is bright and clean, but can be rather cramped."

"We had our Father's Day dinner at PUTIEN and were pleasantly satisfied with both the food and service. The Minnan ginger duck was savoury with tender meat and a strong ginger aroma. The braised bean curd with Chinese cabbage came in a peppery and umami-rich broth, enriched by the depth of dried shrimps and scallops. We absolutely loved it. The deep-fried prawns with cereal were incredibly crispy, even the shells, with a sweet and savoury balance. The spinach in superior stock, made with salted and century eggs, was full of umami. The deep-fried yellow croaker was fresh, crispy on the outside and tender inside. A special mention goes to their house-made chilli sauce. It was tangy, spicy, and absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and food arrived at a good pace, making the overall experience a memorable one."
